Councilman Chaim Deutsch and Councilman Kalman Yeger Announce Forum with the Office of Administrative Trials & Hearings.
Receiving a city summons can be a confusing experience for homeowners and small business proprietors. Whether it’s issued by the Department of Health, Department of Sanitation, or any other city agency, a city-issued summons is always adjudicated through the Office of Administrative Trials & Hearings (OATH). This agency functions as the central administrative law court for the City of New York.
If you’ve ever been the recipient of a summons (or if you’d like to know more about how to avoid one), you are encouraged to participate in a forum with OATH, hosted by Councilman Chaim Deutsch and Councilman Kalman Yeger. Agency officials will offer expert advice about how to navigate the hearing process, resources that are available to aid in your defense, and other important information about summonses issued by New York City agencies.
The forum will take place over Zoom, and login information will be provided upon registration. (Link below)
