NEW YORK:___ The Asian American Federation is pleased to announce the release of the annual Communities of Color Nonprofit Stabilization Fund (CCNSF) Request for Applications for Fiscal Year 2021. The Fund aims to provide capacity-building support to Black, Latino, and Asian-led community-based organizations throughout New York City. Applications are due by November 3, 2020 at 5 pm.
Applicants can access the RFA by visiting the CCNSF website (), where they can also find grant resources and information about the impact of the Fund since it was established in 2014. The website will be updated periodically. Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements in the RFA.
The Fund’s coordinating organizations – Asian American Federation, Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, Hispanic Federation, and New York Urban League – will be holding two virtual community briefings in October to provide information about the application process. All dates will be posted on the CCNSF website (www.ccnsfund.org/community-briefings) in the coming week. Interested organizations must RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
AAF thanks the City Council for their renewal and continued support of CCNSF at $2.5 million in Fiscal Year 2021. Established by the City Council in 2014, the Fund is the first of its kind in New York City to focus on building the capacity of social services organizations serving communities of color and has supported 464 capacity-building projects to date. The Asian American Federation, Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, Hispanic Federation, and New York Urban League formed an alliance seven years ago to generate new levels of support for organizations led by people from the community in recognition of the fact that these organizations are best equipped to meet the needs of the community.
